Siestas, red wine, and beaches are usually what comes to mind when you think about Barcelona, Spain. However, after my recent vacay, I learned that stunning architecture is one of the city’s biggest draws. Actually, Spain is one of the most visited countries in all of the EU thanks to the weather and affordability. After my last short post, I wanted to share more of the elaborate buildings, including work by Gaudi.

While everyone else was dressed in laid back CA cool pieces, I was clearly gearing up for Halloween a little early… Having chose the line Kittin Hawk for the Fashion Groupie produced blogger shoot each of my three looks had a dark edge to them and I loved it!

I pulled two dresses and one cape-like top which I paired with a shiny gold H&M skirt. Both dresses didn’t exactly cover the ta-ta’s, so unless I wanted to flash the world, I had to organically incorporate some sleek coverage. I opted for a white bra to pair with the romantic sheer dress which was topped off with a feathered headpiece. For the more avant-garde look, the dress itself was a piece of art, therefore I opted for a simple black bandeau to do the trick. Kittin Hawk’s pieces are so unique…oh and all of the amazing accessories being worn are also from the label including the whimsical ivory headpiece.

Fore more on Kittin Hawk visit their tumblr…I’ll be bringing more looks from the other bloggers & the designers they worked with soon.
A huge thank you to the incredible team…

Okay, I so I realize NYFW has past, but I’ve been extra busy and am just now sharing my favorite shows with you. I’m sure you’ve been keeping up with my coverage over on the MyFDBlog, but let me narrow it down to my favorites.

Prabal Gurung
The words “designer crush” are a bit of an understatement. Prabal’s clothes evoke emotion and I covet/desire them all.

Calvin Klein
Structured simplicity. I feel like I can buy a staple piece from Calvin Klein and it will be just as relevant twenty years from now. Thank you designer Francisco Costa.
